What is this all about? Any casual glimpse into our current way of life would empirically confirm absence of imagination in almost every sphere. Either our ways are copied from somewhere or are being propped up by crony interests.
We do love our 'Indianness', but what it means is beyond definition, and sadly at times, beyond comprehension. Pluralism apart, there is genuine confusion and cacophony when it comes to any description of Indianness. Notwithstanding the politics of the day, the time truly has come for 'Make in India'.
To prop up our own economy, to become self reliant, to enrich our way of life and thereby emancipate Indianness for generations, it is time to bring out our imaginative best and apply it to all spheres of life.
